CarComplaints.com Notes: The Freestar was introduced in 2004, but it was essentially just a rebranded Windstar. While there was a redesign of the interior and exterior, the Freestar still inherited some of the design flaws of its predecessor.

I had bought this really great looking car two days before from a dealer in Port Charlotte/FL. I took the vehicle for inspection to Tires Plus and they found the steering and suspension in the front in such a bad shape that it was not safe to drive. One tire had to be replaced as well. Far more damages than a pure inspection!
