Every time you started the car the dashboard display went to "display". It should go to the previous setting such as " economy" or "trip 1" etc. Having had the previous year exact model I knew this was not operating properly; The Ford Technician called Ford for advice and Ford said " This is normal"
Thankfully the sales person found the answer on this website. The technician was then able to upload and download the proper data and that fixed the problem. It occurred in Fords during an unknown time period.
