The recall we were warned of has given us anxiety even to drive this vehicle not to mention its a roll over risk in the first place. We called three times and they have yet to return a phone call with a replacement part so our only option is to type a formal complaint!!!..!!!
The contact owns a 2010 Ford Ranger. The contact was driving approximately 55 mph and was having difficulty seeing the roadway over the steering wheel because he was not positioned high enough. He stated that the manufacturer should elevate the seat cushion higher for smaller statured consumers. The dealer replaced the seat cushion yet the contact still was unable to adequately see the roadway. The front headrest was also designed at a very high position. In addition, the contact stated that the clock illumination was not visible. The VIN was unavailable. The failure mileage was approximately 400.
