I called brinson Ford athens tx, they said they would check it out and get right back to me. When I did not hear from them I visited their service department. There I was told that the letter may say the parts are available, but they have not been able to get them. What should I do next? they said just wait.

Takata recall shultz Ford distributor said Ford will not have replacement parts until second or third quarter of 2018 and will not provide loaners, which weans the vehicle is useless if another person is a passenger. I.e. my granddaughter, wife or friend is need a ride although they refuse to say the vehicle is unsafe.
