Taurus Limited Limited 3.5L

Rear brake shoes started grinding after only 5000 miles after replacement. Here shims or anti-rattle brackets cause shoes not to release from rotor causing wear.

Taurus Limited 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 24,000 miles

Ok.. this is the 3rd time I have had the brakes fixed. First time was with 3,000 miles on it, then with 12,000 miles on it, then a complete brake job with turned rotors with 45000 miles on it. Then once again at 54,000 miles on it. Obviously this is an issue with this car!!!!
