I'm one of the newest victims of the Ford transmission! Drove the car on Saturday and it was fine. Monday morning getting ready to go to work, put it in reverse and it will no move! Put it in drive & it does not move. After reading all the comments here, I guess I was lucky that I made it into my garage and that the car didn't stall in traffic. Tomorrow I have to have it towed to the shop and see how much this is going to cost. Not sure I want to keep the car. Never had any problems with it other than normal wear & tear issues. Very frustrating and inconvenient!
Update from Mar 3, 2014: My car is a 2003 Ford Taurus not a 2014.
