CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 GMC Canyon has a significant trend of transmission problems.
Most owners reporting transmission problems with their 2015 Canyon report sluggish shifting or other similar problems with the truck not shifting properly. Although most of these 2015 Canyon trucks are still under warranty, it's not a good sign.
The GMC Canyon is mechanically identical to the Chevy Colorado.

radio shuts off or starts by itself
Truck radio intermittently shuts down with a "thud", loses the time, but restarts and never loses the saved channels. It also has reset the time after the vehicle is shut off. No pattern can be identified. Feedback in the radio speakers (with the radio off) from a handheld GMRS radio. Seems there is inadequate shielding of the radio system which may influence other problems being encountered.
