A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I have had three blow outs/flats on this car and I only have 19,000 miles on it. The first one was less than 10,000 miles if I remember correctly and the last one was about 12 or 15,000 miles. Each time Honda tells me I must be driving over something causing a hole then a blow out. I am awaiting the fix for this last one and have asked to see the tire (which they say has a hole on the inside and outside???? Now how would that happen unless it was caused by the blow out?

Anyway the second incident Honda insisted on towing the car down out of my garage and up onto the truck at the same time because "we do this all the time, we are professionals". Anyway they high centered my car between the garage floor and the truck, tore the front of my car up trying to get it off the truck because the idiot severed his hydraulic line(trying to drag my car which was stuck. Hydraulic fluid was spewing everywhere, yard, car, driveway. There are gouges in my garage floor, driveway etc from him trying to drag it out without it being fully loaded since it was stuck and he either had to tear up the back end or the front.... anyway The idiot then got in my car with his gloves covered in black grease and got the black grease all over the inside of my leather interior, grease thick like Vaseline. He then asked me if I had anything to clean it up with... Meanwhile we had to put blocks/cardboard, rugs etc all over the front underneath side of the car to drive it off the truck since the lip of the garage was tearing the front end off. Then the dealership, when I called Ancona Honda on Metcalf in Overland Park KS, told me they would not have time to clean up the grease all over the inside (that it would have to sit until they got around to it). Then when they called me to tell me they had the car done I asked if they got all the grease out and they said yes. I picked the car up and the inside of the car was still covered in grease stains. I said you call this cleaned up? They said it is not our fault we are not responsible, turn in a claim with the towing company. Perhaps if they had tried to clean it right away they would have gotten it out.

Anyway for this last tire blow out yesterday, it was about 12 degrees here. I called the Honda hotline and was on hold for over 35 min and no one ever picked up the phone. The recording said they are overwhelmed due to the cold. (well then make your people work overtime for Christ sake). People are freezing out here in the cold. Finally a KS state Highway patrolman showed up and gave me a ride home. I still hadn't gotten an answer from them. So I called the State Farm Hotline and they picked up immediately and had a tow truck there in less than an hour.

Now, Honda is refusing to believe there is nothing wrong with their tires that I have had three out of four fail in less than 20,000 miles. Unbelievable. They gave me 20 bucks off the tire. Generous huh? Never mind I was almost killed by 75 mph cars trying to change lanes and get over to the shoulder of the road and sit in a car with cars going 75 mph by me. Even the trooper said I needed to get out of there before we both get killed, and I was pulled way over into the grass even. He would not go to my window but the passenger side and told me to climb over and get out on that side. Yet Honda was going to leave me sit there till God knows when, I either froze to death or got hit. Pathetic.

Is it that much trouble to design a car with a spare tire? I had more damage from Honda towing service than the flat tire I had. I will likely never have them tow again. I hate, hate, hate, Honda right now and this is my third one. I will never buy another.
