The "protection propeller shaft" is installed on the Honda 2004 and 2005 CR-V incorrectly. It serves no purpose with the way it is installed and could potentially allow the shaft to fall to the ground during failure. The consumer stated the protector cannot prevent the drive shaft from falling to the ground in the event of a catastrophic failure of the universal connected joints. The consumer believes the part should be either installed correctly or eliminated.
