Engine light on. Went to dealer. They replaced fuel filler neck and it was leaking.

40 mile trip one way. Gas over $3 bucks a gallon.

Why does it Cost $108 per hour for 2 hours just to diagnose? Is this the first time that this problem has occurred. Don't the dealers have a knowledge base that they can share? It adds up to good service for the customers. Oh, I know why? They won't make as much money?
