CR-V LX 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 20,001 miles

After only 20000 miles the rear brakes had only 10 percent while the front had 70 percent left. The rotors were worn and rusty, There is a design flaw where the rear brakes wear prematurely and quicker than the front brakes .

I had the car serviced in July.. oil, rotate, 12 point inspection.. they said ALL the brakes were good (in the green)..

I take a vacation on the 1st of October.. and while in TN my brakes started making that HORRIBLE noise! I had brakes, so I drove it straight home.. so I wouldn't use the brakes.. 18 hours! I felt that going to a dealer down in TN, that I would be cheated. I went to the dealer that I bought it from and was charged 500.00 .. fix brakes and other routine stuff. I bitched and they gave me back 100.00. Said I was a soft braker.. well fine! But my being a soft braker during the time I had it serviced in July (13,000 + miles) till I got down to TN.. (drove interstates!) when I had 16,000+ miles) caused those real brakes to completely wear out???? Plus new rotors??? ARE YOU SERIOUS?? BS!
