accessories - interior problem
The headrests and the seat are absolutely ridiculous. My husband and I have both had to have chiropractic care because of spinal stress due to the headrests. I am going to an attorney to see if it is possible to sue Honda for this. We can't afford to buy another car so we are stuck!

Very uncomfortable! For a great car, you should be able to get this right. The lumbar support is perfect for the low back, but the curve of the seat forces the shoulders into a bad curve. PLEASE FIX!!!

These are the most uncomfortable seats. The arm rest is very poorly designed, my right elbow keeps slipping down. The headrest is way to tilted and overall the seats are very tiring for neck and the lumbar region.

Just before Christmas 2013, I bought a previously leased 2012 Honda CR-V w/Navigation. I absolutely love everything about the vehicle except the front seats. They are the most uncomfortable seats I have ever had. They are power seats, and I try a different position every day, but I cannot get it right. It seems to me that the seat cushion is too low and there is no adjustment for that. The lumber cannot be adjusted to my liking. I have a 45 min to 1 hr work commute each way. I was wondering why I couldn't stand up straight when my commute was over. The seats put my lower back in an awkward position. The clincher was a 9 hour road trip last summer. We were miserable when we got to our destination.
The arm rest is a joke. It isn't even in the correct position. So now it looks like pillow-mania in my CRV. I have a pillow between the seats to rest my arm, which defeats the purpose of the console, and a pillow on my seat to put my butt in a different position to alleviate back pain. I've considered trading it in but probably would lose too much money. Not sure what to do. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

On November 24 2012, I was driving home when I was approaching a major intersection I saw an emergency vehicle crossing intersection. I slowed down and came to a stop,( I did not slam on brakes). Seconds later I was jolted foward and then I slammed back into my seat. A 2011 Nissan Armada hit me from behind. I was really stunned and immediately felt tingling in my neck and pain in my lower back.
I was taken to the hospital and the Er doctors said I have severe whiplash. Long story short my car did not sustain hardly any damage. Some scratches only. Prior to accident I was a healthy working mom of two children. Now Im in pain everyday. I have neck and back problems now. I didnt suspect any problems with the vehicle until I noticed I have a tough time driving with the headrest and its severe angle. Is it possible the headrest added to my injury because of the angle?
After slamming into it thats when I felt the tingling. I also suffered a concussion and am still recovering from it.

Yes, designed for whiplash protection but headrest tilt is too extreme. Honda needs to manufacture a new headrests for driver and passenger and replace on every vehicle where the tilt is too much. Seriously not comfortable at all. I'm worried I will suffer long term complications in my neck if not resovled. Thank you. Honda I hope you take this seriously.

These are the most uncomfortable car seats I have ever experienced. My back and butt go numb after driving less than 20 minutes. The car is nice in every way, but the seats. My wife and I are about to take a trip in it and I am dreading getting in the car. I have put some cushions in it, which helps a little. I am afraid this won't be enough for our upcoming trip. I spoke to the Honda dealer where we purchased it, and the seller said he had not heard this from anyone else, and that there was nothing they could do. I asked, but Honda does not sell any custom seat covers. I rode in a friend's 2009 CR-V, and it had the cloth seats and were much more comfortable. I went to an upholstery shop, but they don't like modifying seats as it is hard to please customers. If I don't find a remedy soon, then I will be looking to sell.

I just bought the CR-V. For 5 minutes drive, I did not feel anything wrong. But after 20 minutes drive, I really cannot bare it. I wanted to jump out of the car to give my neck a break. But I can't, since it's on high way.
The headrest pushes my head forward into an very uncomfortable position. After 1.5 hours drive, my neck hurts for five days.
I simply don't believe that Honda designed a headrest like that. I went back to the dealer, the salesman told me they can not adjust it. He tried the turn the headrest 180 degree, but it can not be inserted into the seat.
I'm expecting to drive long distance recently, I can not imagine how can I drive 10 hours a day. I'm not enjoying. I'm suffering.
Anyone has the same problem? Any suggestion?

Honda corporate could care less, Westbrook Honda, CT could care less - no responsibility is taken, no surprise. The seat causes excruciating butt pain and hip pain - after 35 min I have to get out of car and dread getting back in. Do not buy Honda CRV!!!
