On our 2013 Honda CR-V AWD, we had problems over the 10 years that we owned the car with abnormal tire wear (feathering/cupping) which created a lot of tire noise/rumbling. Just about every set of tire we put on it (various manufacturers), started making noise at less than 20k miles. We tried wheel balancing, alignments, etc.
