At highway speeds, the wipers are a danger during a rainstorm. The wiper on the driver's side pulls the rain back towards the center of the windshield, into the driver's line of sight. It's incredibly annoying, and probably unsafe. Overall, I love the car, but this is a major R&D flaw.
