Very disappointed in Honda. I spent a lot of time researching for a reliable car and spent a ton of money getting this. Now with 15K I was left on the side of the road. I should have the right to return it for a full refund, but its buyer beware, even on new cars!! My nearest dealership is 160kms away so a quick fix does not work. I need it to be reliable.
Took several weeks to clean up the mess and get a fix , meanwhile, dealer gave me a loaner.
All appears well now but this was a BRAND NEW car, just purchased. in September. In the shop many times before they got it right..
Update from Jan 16, 2017: Honda CRv transmission problem, on acceleration, lags and then surges. Dangerous to not have control of
the car's speed have been 2 times to dealer, they still cant get it right. Looks like its coming down to a lemon law suit. Many similar complaints on this vehicle on the web. Am calling Honda of America at dealer request, they have tried to fix it ...do not buy this car model. The intermittent problems are the hardest, but it appears that
there is transmission problem of some sort.
