A little over two weeks ago we took our 2019 Honda CRV to the dealership because all the indicator lights were lighting up on the dashboard. It started as I was sitting in the car with the car idling as I waited for my husband to come out of the store. We took a short video of what it was doing. The car was at the dealership the next day, but there were no indicator lights like the previous day. We shared the video with the service rep. When we picked it up we were told the fuel injectors needed to be replaced and it would cost in excess of $2,300. The car has less than 78,000 miles on it. The service rep said that if it was his car he would not drive it a distance (freeway) with this problem. That says to me that it is a safety issue. We had been concerned that it could be an electrical issue because the car was in a front-end, side-swipe collision in November 2023, and we had just gotten it back from repairs at the dealership two weeks before the indicator lights problem. The service rep assured us it was not an electrical problem. I looked up the problem on the internet. On [XXX] there were a number of other Honda CRV owners with the same problem at about the same mileage. Our safety is at risk with possible risk to friends and family because we need to drive on the freeway for daily activities. We took it to an independent automotive service location. They did not come to the same conclusion; the indicator lights were no longer on. This vehicle component has not been inspected by any others, other than already mentioned. While driving the car at highway speed the vehicle experienced a complete loss of power to all essential functions. The engine shutdown and there was no steering and loss of some of the brake functions. Multiple warnings started showing ( too many to list here ). The car came to a stop partially in the highway and we experienced several near misses by passing vehicles before we could get enough assistance to push the vehicle out of the roadway. Since this incident a simple search has shown that this is a very common problem with this vehicle. It appears that it could be a problem with the computer software. This problem has a very high potential for serious injury or death when it occurs while driving at highway speeds. Please look into this issue as soon as possible.

Was parked on side of road. No previous warning lights. Car would not start. Unable to put on hazard lights in dark on highway. Had to be towed. All dash wearing lights on only. Was at dealer 2 months prior due to all dash lights on and power failure. Replaced battery and car was re coded per dealer. Prior to that all dash lights came on when car turned off and had to disconnect battery cable every night. Now car does not turnover when jumped and battery charged. Dealer thinks might be a smart unit and parasitic battery drain. Car only has 42000 miles on it. No hazards, worried about being rear ended. i What if there was an abrupt power failure while driving. Living in Wisconsin what if stranded in freezing temps. Unreliable car due to manufacture defects.

Rear doors will not open when getting out or opening. I changed batteries in key fob, but didn't help. 12/27/23 all lights on dash went black and stayed off for about 5 miles. I've had the brakes stop me and I was thrown forward hard. My main worry is if my electrical system goes out while driving, will my car lock up and cause an accident?

The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked overnight, she noticed that the four windows were rolled down and the sunroof was opened in the morning. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure occurred on a second occasion. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the failure was due to the key fob being pressed unintendedly. The contact stated that the failure occurred a third time while the vehicle was parked overnight in a friend's garage. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.

After waiting in car, dash board went crazy with all warning lights scrolling. Two dealers refused to take car because the dash stopped. This happened 3 times. Third time, Autozone x2 and Firestone, independent of one another said computer issue and that a code for rich fuel was coming up. On sixth check, mechanic private used code reader after check engine light came on. Dash went berserk twice. They refused to touch vehicle stating it-??s electrical. Took it to dealer who kept car for five weeks. -??Can-??t get an active code. We can start with fuel injectors-??. -??Maybe-?? that will stop dash board issue. Now, five days after this diagnosis, dealer states that the tech DID find drop in voltage happening intermittently. When I asked why I was not told this originally - he cited mis communication. Car runs great. No repairs done yet as no one knows what to do. 114,000 miles. Highway. I am on several forums and this is not an isolated issue. Help please

Two issues are going on and have been going on since I have had the vehicle: 1. The car will spontaneously brake HARD when going down the road with no particular reason. It most frequently happens on the highway and it happens sporadically so it is difficult to replicate. I see it often but not all the time when crossing under an overpass or going off on an exit. The amount of brake use varies as well, sometimes just a tap and sometimes quite significant, losing 20-30 mph in seconds. 2. The infotainment system goes on the blink. Often starts with the brightness setting flashing up on the screen when nothing has been touched. Then it will go away, then brightness will blink back up, then the whole screen is useless / frozen or just disappears all together. I have a few videos of this. The ONLY way to get it to work again is by stopping the car, turning it off and restarting it. This obviously is not possible at certain times and can be really difficult to deal with when going through a big city and relying on the map to help you navigate both roads and traffic (like when it happened on the George Washington Bridge in NYC).

Vehicles harness leading to auto dimming rear view mirror was defective and a wire split rendering all my braking capability. The ABS system felt like it was reversing the brakes EVERYTIME I stepped on the pedal. I hit my garage door because of this: Honda wanted me to pay to fix the wire because "I had a handicap plate that probably broke the wire" yet I never put my handicap placard on my mirror but rather on my dashboard. My brakes are electronically controlled due to it having an electric brake booster and AEB, radar cruise control and more. I could have been killed. HONDA DIDNT CARE, made me take the car with no brakes.

While driving the SUV and series of warning lights started going off all at the same time. I took the SUV to Honda dealership and they ran diagnostics and said that all SIX fuel injectors needed to be replaced. Said it was a common problem they we seeing in this make and model of SUV. The faulty fuel injectors was causing fuel pressure problems which sets off all the warning lights is how it was explained to me. Due to the widespread problem with the fuel injectors there was a backlog and wait time of 6 months to order new fuel injectors and replace them. I am just outside of the warranty for the SUV and I went through Honda for Goodwill Assistance. Honda said I was a good candidate to receive because of the low mileage. After many weeks they denied my Goodwill Assistance request and Honda stated they only do Recalls when NHTSA requires them to do a Recall. Please look into faulty fuel injectors because when all the warning lights come on then I loose some of the safety features that come with this SUV. I will be more than willing to provide any other information to prove there's a known and widespread problem with this SUV's fuel injectors. I respectfully request it's investigated and Honda is required to do a Recall. Thank you. There are 11 warning lights that come on, I have provided pictures of a few but listed here are all of them: Electric Parking Brake Problem, Tire Pressure Monitor Problem, Emissions System Problem, Brake System Problem, Brake Hold System Problem, Power Steering System (EPS) Problem, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) Problem, Hill Start Assist Problem, Adaptive Cruise Control Problem, Collision Mitigation System Problem, Road Departure Mitigation System Problem.

While driving my Honda CR-V the braking, steering and GPS started to fail. I noticed the wire from the windshield to the rear-view mirror was hanging lose. the car was almost impossible to stop. Buckeye Honda replaced the wire for $1028.97 I recently became aware that Honda has recalled a number of other models with the same problem. Should the CR-V also be recalled? I am aware of other owners having same problem. This is very dangerous since the brake and steering fail at the same time. I have the work order and receipt from Buckeye Honda however my printer copier is not working.

When the fuel injectors go bad or out in the 2019 CRV, the check engine light should just come on. Instead the CRV 2019 CRV all lights come on dashboard disabling all safety systems in the car and makes those safety systems unusable when it should just be alerting you of an engine issue. This could cause accidents with a vehicle, rather than the engine just shutting down. Honda has known about it not fixing not only fuel injector they need to be fixing the electric problem that goes along disabling the safety features. They also need to get fuel injector parts in stock. Also, the fuel injector cause further damage to other parts of the vehicle. It damages spark plugs, oil. Honda should been recalling this issue awhile. We take good care of our vehicle and have up kept this vehicle. This one needs to be fixed properly fixing just the injector not enough they have to fix the issue of the safety features where doesn-??t disable the whole car along with new injectors.

Possible faulty Body Control Module. Will not recognize either set of keys after the car has been off for a few hours. (The red light on both keys stops working. Both are somewhat new batteries.) To unlock the door, I need to use the physical key. When I hold the keyfob up to the push start, the car will turn on. Sometimes the car will start but will say something about the key not being detected in the car 50% of the time, the car will recognize KEY 1 as KEY 2 and show Key 2 driver's cluster settings. If you do not know about the physical key inside the keyfob or know about putting the keyfob next to the push start button, you will be left stranded. Other reports from a Honda enthusiast website have very similar problems with even the battery being drained overnight.

I bought a Honda CR-V 2019 with 30,695 miles on 7/22/2022 from an authorized dealer. Vehicle had 1 previous owner and a clean record. At around 50,000 miles the car started to have some computer glitches. Interior lights and radio turning on and off. Interior screen changing randomly and rapidly between functions. Nothing to where I was too concerned. I would turn the car on and off and it would fix itself. I am now at 56,000 miles and on 7/23/23 and my car had every light on the dashboard light up. It had the engine light, brake system, traction, steering ACC and was showing warnings for: Adaptive cruise control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind spot warning, Forward collision warning, Lane departures warning, Lane keeping assistance, Parking collision warning, Rear cross traffic warning. I just received a call from the Honda Mechanic, and they informed me it was the fuel injectors and possible spark plugs. It will cost $1,730. They are also going to do a computer update and reset. Why is this problem not under warranty? This car is not that old and I make sure all my maintenance is done.

My vehicle did not want to start, upon getting my vehicle checked by a mechanic my battery, starter, alternator, key fob were good. Mechanic checked the car with his computer and no problems appeared in the system. Upon checking online many Hondas and Acura's have been this issue were the car doesn-??t want to start or doesn-??t want to turn off. Many articles online show these issues are with the start button on these cars. The engine from my 2019 CRV almost started when using the keyless function from the key fob while outside the vehicle. My mechanic said there has to be an electrical or computer issue because the car wants to start but it-??s not getting enough signal. This is a big safety issue that a car is unresponsive, if your in a parking lot or closed structure and the car does not want to turn off it can turn into a big safety hazard.

Rear backup camera has intermittent power loss and loss of entertainment system. There is also popping, cracking sounds and info screen goes off and on. I first noticed this issues about 3 months ago. It was intermittent at first but now the issue is happening all the time I first reported this problem to the Honda dealer about a month ago and they told me there has been no camera issues reported I rechecked with Honda dealer (6-28-2023) and they have had no recall notice and have not heard of this issue with the 2019 Honda CRV. The dealer would charge me $159 to see if they can reproduce the problem. This issue is causing an problem as I rely on the rear camera when backing. No warning lights/ messages have shown
