Dash lights stayed on after car turned off. Had to take off battery terminals so would not totally drain battery. Went to dealer who said possible parasitic battery drain and recommended changing the body control module or smart sensor both which are back ordered. After being reprogrammed worked okay for two months. Then at work was totally dead. Would not turn over when jumped and after charging battery. All warning lights came on and locked out unless holding key fob by on switch. Had to have it towed. Sitting on road with no hazards at night stranded in freezing temps. What if this happens when driving and all systems lock up. Complaints all over the internet but no recalls by Honda until someone is killed. Honda Dealers in central Wisconsin totally useless. Car is totally disabled.

Something in the electrical system is draining the battery. The car is less than 4 years old and I have had to replace the battery twice. I have turned off everything I can think of regarding the computer. My son is a mechanic and called it a parasitic drain. The Honda dealership denies there is a problem.

Display Screen: All of a sudden displays the Volume Bar, Blinks and changes screens constantly and beeps loudly without stopping... which is EXTREMELY distracting especially if ON the Interstate... nothing short of turning off the motor stops it. Contacted Service Dept at the dealer and was told they need the car for several days to replicate the problem in order to diagnose it. I told them that it happened only 3 times in the last 2 years so there is little chance that they will get it to malfunction within 2-3 days.

I found many similar complaints on the Internet (describing EXACTLY what mine was doing) and no one ever got any satisfaction from their respective dealers. I called Honda Corporate Customer Relations and they tried to say that they are NOT aware of this problem, even though there was a Class Action Lawsuit filed on THIS very problem in 2019. I will NEVER ever purchase a Honda again as they refuse to even admit that this very dangerous distraction is even a known problem when there HAVE been numerous similar complaints....

Dealer cleared computer codes but no failure was found by dealer, so no repair done, and it could happen again at any time. Now can't trust car. Could lead to accident.
