Within 30 minutes of driving this vehicle, my butt goes numb and I have pain in right leg. It's miserable. This does not occur with our other vehicle, nor have I had this issue with any previous vehicles I've owned. This is my first Honda CRV. It's really unfortunate because we bought this car for road trips, and there is no way we can use it for that. Will likely have to trade this car in as a result. I see many other complaints about this on the internet - wish I had known prior to purchase.
I purchased my brand new 2021 Honda CRV and, except for the driver’s seat, am very happy with the car. The driver’s seat is KILLING ME though!
No adjustment can bring the front end of the seat low enough for me not to feel the relentless pressing pain against my right calf. Since this was bothering me severely and getting worse with each ride, I decided to go visit the deader and see what were my options. They said that they can do nothing about, that they won’t touch it because it’s a safety issue. From there, I decided to call an upholsterer to see if they could help me: they too said that they wouldn’t touch it because it’s a safety issue!
My question is, is there some help for me? I purchased new car a month ago and cannot drive it without feeling severe pain. In fact, I’m dreading getting into the car. My I drove it at the dealer’s, before purchasing, the short test-drive was not enough to bring this out but, as time goes on and as my trips increase, I’m not sure how much longer I can suffer this horrendous pain in my calf.
Has anybody encountered this problem? Does anyone know if Honda has a solution for this? Much appreciated for whatever help you can send me.
(P.S.: I have purchased about 20 seat and back cushions on Amazon and returned everyone of them! Nothing helped what I need because what I need is to lower the front end of the seat).
