bearing noise in transmission, not sure what bearing
Why do I need a transmission bearing replaced on my 2004 Honda Civic with a 5 speed standard transmission that has less than 51,000 miles in it? It was bought brand new and garage kept, serviced regularly and driven properly!
It makes a terribly loud noise starting in gear then continues when shifting, Its embarrassing.
It has never been back to the dealer for any issues, except this one. I always bragged about that, now I get to spend over $2000.
This car should last for a very long time.
