Electronic warning system informed me that many units were faulty including (off the top of my head) the following: Brake Hold System, Brake System, Smog System, Hill Start Assist, Lane Assist, Power Steering. The power steering was definitely down because steering felt different. Also, lane assist and brake hold did not work. This scared me, as I was thinking the brakes themselves might not work. I called Honda Assist and they were going to charge $120 to take me to the Honda service place that I purchased the car and made my appointment at, because it was not within their allowable mileage range. When you have this many problems with a vehicle model, you should step up your customer service game. I'm so done with this car.

Dash tire pressure indicator and audio indicator activate continuously, even after being serviced by mechanic. Does not seem to be a solution that dealer knows about.

Honda has had my car 45 out of the 70 days I have owned this car. They said they cannot fix this issue at this time and that I simply had to "just deal with it." Will NEVER buy a Honda again after how I have been treated.

Civic LX 2.0L

  • CVT transmission
  • 225 miles

Noticed this on a highway drive from Baltimore to DC last night in my brand new Honda Lemon LX. Tire pressure warning light -- an orange exclamation mark inside a cauldron with four little dots on the bottom...or maybe it's supposed to look like a flat tire. Car had about 230 miles on it and I had bought the car about 10 days prior. Tires look fine on visual inspection. I'd take it to the dealer but they already blew me off on the car's distorted windshield. I believe there is a way to calibrate it so I'll try that first.

weird video warning messages on the speedometer display

On the 6th day of purchasing 2016 Honda Civic EX 2.0 L, while driving all of a sudden noticed warning messages on Driver Information Interface that read Problems with brake system, transmission problem, steering problem etc. These messages were appearing on the center display were the vehicle's speed gets displayed (part of the Tachometer / Speedometer display) - (This happened when the car mileage was 88). Had to tow the vehicle to dealer. Dealer returned the car stating no problem. But following this, I am starting to get problems with acceleration now. Vehicle's RPM increases but the vehicle's acceleration decreases. Not finding it safe to drive the vehicle any more. The vehicle is in the dealership for the past 5 days now (Mileage around 200 and around 2 weeks old vehicle).
