alignment; shaking; shifting

Took my car back to the dealer for the shaking, alignment, shifting and blutooth/ipod.Dealer states the shaking is from the grooves in the road, even when it does this on roads without the grooves, says alignment is a-ok, says the shift patterns are because of the CVT type of engine in the civic. Bluetooth and Ipod were never addressed yet again. I can't stress enough how unsafe i feel driving this car. I was in a bad car accident and had to buy a new car i chose the honda civic because i thought it would be a safe and reliable car, in which it has been anything but that since the rodent damage happened and it was at the dealer for repairs.

Took the car back to the dealer for the alignment, the service advisor did admit "we dropped the ball" on my car; they performed another alignment sent me on my way. My car is still not aligned correctly, it shakes, it rocks, it swerves. I have to hold my steering wheel so tight for this car to stay in the proper lane. The dealership tells me "its the grooves on the road/freeways. I find this very hard to believe when my car didn't have these issues prior to taking it in for the rat damage. The dealer states this is out of their hands and i need to contact honda of america, in which i did and they were so horrible to me and basically telling me there is nothing they can do for me I have lost all respect for honda and don't feel safe driving my civic.

Civic EX 2.0L I Think

  • CVT transmission
  • 3,000 miles

ERRRRRRR... I had been noticing an odd feel and what seemed a hesitation to accelerate between 2000 and 2500 rpm’s. So I started investigating. I placed the car in park and accelerated between 2000 and 3000 rpm’s. To my surprise at 2100 rpm’s the car has a serious vibration. I took it to the dealer and they said this is normal. How could a very noticeable vibration be normal?. So I asked the dealer to prove it….. Pick a random 2016 Civic EX from your lot and check it. Well again to my surprise the random EX had the same noticeable vibration. The dealer say's there is nothing to fix as this is normal. Fuel millage seems to be affected. 2100 rpm's is about 80 mph which is about California frwy speeds, oh, and some school zones. $30k and I purchased a car with a normal serous vibration oh, and with several electrical issues to boot. I'm excited. I am curious if anyone else with a 2016 Honda Civic EX has this issue. If you don’t know, try putting your car in park and raise the engine speed between 2000 and 2500 rpm…. More than likely closer to 2100 rpm’s. In my car if the door is open it will really shake.
