  • 75,000 miles
The contact owns a 2001 Honda Odyssey. The contact was driving 10 mph when a vehicle crashed into the front driver's side of the vehicle and the air bags deployed. The contact sustained injuries to both hands and the face as a result of the deployment and stated that he believed that the slight impact should not have triggered the air bag deployment. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. The dealer confirmed that the air bags, as well as the seat belts needed replacement. In addition, the dealer confirmed that the impact to the vehicle did not constitute air bag deployment. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 75,000 and the current mileage was 100,000.

SRS light on my Honda Odyssey. Had an small accident and the airbags didn't not deflate, lights been on for 2 yrs and the dealer says the will still drive without fixing the issue. Took it the dealership and he is charging me a diagnostic fee, when he knows what the issue is, and then he says that there will be a fee to fix it but he cannot give me an estimate before charging me a diagnosis fee.
