This is not the first time the SRS light has come on. It started about a week ago. Is intermittent. Causes? Concerns?

The SRS light stays on now and has for about 2 weeks. I had the recall service performed for the air bag computer malfunction and had the second air bag recall done which replaced the air bags. The SRS light on was diagnosed at the Honda service center. They say it is due to the cable in the steering wheel has worn out -- the electrical cable in the steering wheel that links to the air bag indicator is not working. They said this cable can wear out over time and they tested the power in the line. It will be $325 to replace the cable. At this time they say the air bags will not work in case of a impact.
