1. on sat, November 22, 2008, my family and I were riding in our 2004 Honda Odyssey. We were traveling West on 94 through menomonie, wi at a posted speed of 65 mph. It was 6:15 or so, and the sun had gone down. There was a lot of traffic on the road as it was hunting season in wi. Without warning, 2 large deer jumped in front of our minivan. My husband hit both deer - one went over the top of the van, and one went under the van - both deer were killed by the impact. My husband did not loose control of the car, and we did not hit anything else. There was extensive front end damage, and the car was no longer able to be driven. 2. the front airbags did not deploy! while there was no physical injury to either my husband or myself, I know there was a defect as the airbags should have deployed in a front end impact at that speed. 3. nothing has been done to date to correct the failure as front end of minivan needs extensive repair in order to be driven again.

: the contact stated while driving 40mph on a country road, the vehicle struck another vehicle resulting in a rear end collision, and the airbags did not deploy. The contact was wearing a seat belt, but minor injuries were sustained. The vehicle was totaled due to the extensive front end damage. The police were alerted, and a report was processed. An insurance adjustor inspected the vehicle and determined the airbags should have deployed. The manufacturer was alerted.

Passenger air bag is turning off frequently. There is always a strong crack when you press the brake. There is a decoloring passenger air bag place. It eats gas if you turn on the back air conditioner. The passenger console had a big vibration. The Odyssey has gone to the dealer more than four times for the same reason but it's never fixed. They said those claims are normal for a model 2004.
