Passenger sliding door stopped working but was under warranty. Right after warranty ran out, then the drivers side sliding door started doing the same thing. If one side needed fixing you would think they would have checked the other as well. From looking at other owners this is a problem.

sliding door does not open easily either manually or auto

I barely have the strength to close the sliding door when it acts up. It will work automatically about 10% of the time. When it does not work automatically, it is extremely difficult to close manually. It was so embarrassing the other day when I went to the car wash and it took four guys to close it while holding up the line!!!!

I have been struggling with the sliding doors since purchasing the vehicle new in '06. I have had them repaired 5 times totaling over $1500.00. Always have to take van back to dealership after a few months. The repairs never last. This is my second Honda, but there will not be a third.

Door will not shut completely. Have seen some complaints where door slid open while moving. This is a very dangerous problem. Should be on a recall.

The electronic sliding door would emit a whining sound followed by a loud pop whenever the door is opened. After researching this issue, it was narrowed down to a faulty door actuator.

Door on driver side started bucking when opening or closing, then the one on the passenger side did the same. Finally this evening passenger rear slider stopped and jammed, then fell off the rear track and damaged the paint and body work. Had to take the 2 bolts off the rear of the door hinge connected to cable and close by hand. Not pleased with the operation..

Both back sliding doors never worked well. Had problems starting in first year. The back right one can't be opened at all and left rear was just fixed costing me $450.00. Was never notified of any recalls. Were there? Disgusted with the dealership it was bought from brand new. Now I take it to a great non affiliated repairshop.

My Honda started with brake issues and once those were fixed after 2 years of complaining, the door started acting up. The dealer here told me they could not fix the door and I must take it some where else. I called another dealer and they said they did not have the experience and I should take it into Orlando and hope they could fix the problem. I have already spent $300.00 dollars and was told the last time it was a potato chip that stopped my door from working. I know 3 other Honda Odyssey owers that have the door issue and they are waiting for me to find some one who can fix our doors. Let me know if someone can find a dealer trained in the door. They replaced the wheels inside but this seem to make it worse. Looking for help.

Sliding doors on occasion will not open all the way and lock in place. If on a slight hill, they will slide shut making it very difficult to enter/exit or retrieve items from the side positions.
