It sounds horrible. But the power steering still works. We've had the pump replaced 3 times now, and we just live with the noise. My advice- DON'T BUY A HONDA.

Odyssey EX-L 3.5L V6

This noise is high pitched which can be heard whether your turning or not. It is more prominent when temperatures are below 45 or you turning. When I first heard it I thought a belt was going to snap or I was low on a fluid. Possibly a pump. ALL checked out and OK. It has been a year of whining....
