The contact owns a 2019 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that whenever it rained, water was leaking into the vehicle and caused the rear door circuit board and power module to short circuit. The contact stated that the rear door was inoperable. The contact stated that the failure was an ongoing issue which started a year after purchasing the vehicle new. The contact stated that whenever it rained the rear door failed to function normally. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the same dealer several times and the dealer was unable to duplicate or determine the cause of the failure. The contact had taken the vehicle back to the same dealer for the recent failure. The dealer diagnosed that water had entered the vehicle from the roof and had accumulated in the rear door near the electrical circuits. The dealer determined that the rear door power module and circuit board needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 61,000.
