The lkas and several other lights are on in the vehicle and no one has been able to provide any answers as to why. Nor can the problem be fixed. There is also a problem with the transmission. Upon acceleration there is a hesitation that the car will not engage

Vehicle jerks at about 25mph when it-??s idled in 1-2rpm. Sometime at acceleration and won-??t move up rpm. Vehicle got fuel injectors and transmission fluid replaced and still have issues. Vehicle in shop now with less then 2,000k before power train warranty up even though I-??ve been dealing with it for over a year. Dealer said transmission fluid was down quart 4 months after they changed the transmission fluid. They were able to replicate jerk but couldn-??t replicate sound of something clicking over while idle. I have it on video. I think since Honda never fixed the issue in the first place it caused additional damage and all the want to do is add more fluid and call it a day.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that when the vehicle was turned on on several occasions, the "emission system problem, brake system problem, brake hold system problem, power steering EPS problem, vehicle stability assist VSA problem, hill start assist problem, and road departure mitigation system problem" messages appeared. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed that the fuel injector kit needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000

Delayed transmission engagement when accelerating from a stopped position. When the accelerator is depressed the transmission hesitates and does not shift for a few seconds. This is very unsafe when trying accelerate into traffic or cross roads. This has been an on going issue with this transmission.

Shortly after owning we started noticing sporadic jerks between 24-29 mph that felt like a hard up shift. We immediately brought to our local Honda dealership where they performed a software update. We were told that the vehicle struggles to shift while under load. Recently our van was making a whining noise and seemed hard/delay to accelerate in drive as well as reverse. Almost felt like I was in neutral, but was not. NO warning lights were on, but something was not right so I went home. The next day it would not start and lit up every warning light. We had it towed to the dealership and was told battery was shot so they replaced. On way home it was still hard to accelerate so we brought it right back to the dealership and have been told a new transmission is needed. We have had all maintenance done at dealership prior to this. In fact, the vehicle was just in 3 weeks ago for an oil change and everything looked great. These issues have occurred without any warning lights or diagnostic alerts, making them unpredictable and dangerous. A transmission should not fail without any particular warning to the driver. It seems these transmissions have had a defect from the date of manufacturer that cause malfunctions, premature failing, costly repairs, and most important major safety concerns. Honda needs to be held accountable.

We have had issues with the transmission multiple times. After coming to a stop, rolling forward, and then pressing the accelerator the vehicle hesitates and won't immediately move forward. It will suddenly engage, often squealing the tires and jerk into forward motion. This puts us and others at risk because it causes a delay in pulling into traffic and has made for close calls with oncoming traffic. We took the vehicle to a local shop and they also noticed the issue with the transmission. We took the vehicle to a Honda dealership for service and while they stated that they could not duplicate the issue, there was a software update that they completed and stated that they thought it would take care of the issue. We are still having the issue and plan to take the vehicle back to the dealer for more investigation. We have not had any warning lamps or other messages. Upon researching this, there are class action lawsuits in the works related to this issue on 9 speed transmissions used in various Honda models during this timeframe. Honda has not recalled or extended warranties to cover these issues. It looks like Honda has sent technical service bulletins to nationwide dealers acknowleding the issue but has failed to find a fix for the problem. As in our case, Honda has done software updates which may mask the issue. Below it asks for the date that the incident occurred - This occurs at least weekly, sometimes more frequently.

since 2023 around august i felt lose of power while driving but i thought its because of the gasoline i used so i didnt care much, thereafter this loss of power problem persisted since then so i took to the dealership at battison honda at nortwest expressway in oklahoma, but they said my vehicle has no issue, but this loss of power issue was not resolved but on 1st week of february i was about to crash on road due to loss of power so took the vehicle to dealership and they said it was due to the trasmission issue and i replaced it as it passed the 5 year powertrain warranty dealership said i have to pay it full, i fight with them for 2 weeks atlast they said i have to pay 5000 dollar. so i paid the amont and they said the transmission has replaced, but still i have some hesitation while accelerate and the same issue of loss of power during acceleration happening, can you please help me to resolve this issue as its not only about money but due to safety concerns, i dont want to deal with trhat dealership anymore. please help me during this difficult situation. thank you.

sorry, I should make the complaint earlier since I just know I can submit it here. I have a 2019 honda odyssey EX-L since 2019 but I only have 22K miles. Starting from 2023, the vin could not pick up speed when we pushed the oil paddle; the transmission got stuck and the van could not be speed up when it was needed in highway. We came across the dangerous situations for several times. We contacted the local honda dealer for several times. They insisted that there was not any problems but they suggested we change the transmission fluid with less then 19000 miles !!!. But even we changed the fluid, the van seemed better for 2 months. I contacted honda USA. But they did not pay any attentions!!!! In the end of Jan 2025, I was making a left turn while the van got stuck there ; I almost got hit by the coming car. It was very terrifying ! I do not know what I can do since I need to use the van to pick up my three kids for school everyday I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. While driving at 25-30 mph, all of a sudden the 2 warning signs came up: -??transmission system problem-?? AND -??blind spot info system problem.-?? The -??D-?? in the dashboard started blinking. When I put the vehicle in park at a stop light, the -??P-?? also blinked. After a couple of minutes of this I pulled over and turned the car off. A few minutes later I restarted the engine and these warning lights have not come back in the last 5 drives. I read online that this may be a software glitch that needs updating (which I think is a manufacturer defect). I do feel like the car was a bit jumpy while these warnings were going off and I was TERRIFIED that it would put itself into park while I was driving and cause an accident.

Does not accelerate on the highway/freeway. Took it to dealer shop, several times over the years. First 2-3 years, they say they did not find any issues. Last year, they said it was transmission issue. We took it to other repair shop, he said it was computer system failure.

Currently own a honda odyssey 2019. The transmission is unstable at times. From a speed of 25-30mph, it performs hard shifts i think from the 3rd gear. We can really feel the jerk of the van along with a sound like metals slipping or something. It doesn't always happen therefore the dealer could not fully diagnose it and called it normal or wait for it to get worse. Yeah right!

The vehicle has been occasionally stalling starting early 2024, maybe sooner. I had the fuel pump recall done recently. The vehicle is still stalling, and it seems to be getting worse. The stalling happens when driving at speed, even over 70+ mph. No warning lights. But rpms drop to almost zero for a few seconds and accelerator is unresponsive. Then it comes back after a few seconds. This is dangerous. Especially on busy highways.

Over the course of the 38 months that we have owned the vehicle, random transmission slippage has been present on this 2019 Odyssey. I mentioned the slippage to the service advisors at the dealership when taking the vehicle in for oil changes. The technician was -??not able to replicate the problem.-?? The slippage was always a safety concern. The van is highly unpredictable on acceleration, making it dangerous to try to pull into traffic, for example, since the driver never knows whether the van will accelerate on demand or not. Other times, the engagement will occur gradually, causing the van to accelerate sloooooowly, despite the driver having significant throttle applied. The display now reads -??Transmission System Problem-?? and WILL NOT shift out of park. I had it towed to the local auto repair shop to be diagnosed. The transmission needs replaced.
