2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L with approx 7,000 miles on the clock. Purchased new in September 2019 developed a metallic rattle/engine knock-like sound. It happens in low gear, low speed, slight acceleration. I took it to dealership of purchase for an investigation due to upcoming holiday road trip. After six days in shop, a determination was made that the most likely culprit was a faulty main bearing on crankshaft and would require engine replacement. Honda Cars of NA is in talks with the dealership to facilitate repair and temporary loaner vehicle. Great service from Honda, unfortunate situation with new vehicle. Hopefully that new engine will not suffer similar fate.
