The contact owns a 2006 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that the liftgate fractured. The vehicle was taken to markley Honda (3401 S college ave fort collins, co) where the contact was informed that the vehicle was out of warranty and he would have to pay out of pocket. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but did not offer any assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000. The VIN was not available.
