While driving on the interstate, car decelerated and would not go past 5 mph. Had to get it towed. Throttle body replaced and now needs the the catalyt converter replaced in which I do not have the funds. There is an ongoing "ticking/clicking" sound in the engine, check engine light is currently on. While driving and coming to a red light, the car engine revved and the car started accelerating even though my foot was firmly on the brake. Car made a jerking move so I threw the gear into N and then park to stop the revving. Car is currently parked

2015 Hyundai Accent electrical malfunction on the front passenger door causing a fire. The car was parked but the window made a horrible noise when being rolled up. When I went back to the car, the door was all melted. Hyundai inspected the vehicle and stated the cause of the fire is unknown but declines fixing or replacing it. Every week its a new possible cause but nothing confirmed except unknown. The car is covered under the new vehicle warranty but my attorney has been unsuccessful. At this time with no head lights, tail lights, electrical dash, windows or locks, Hyundai has stated they cannot confirm the car is safe to drive, but want me to put myself and my unborn child at risk.

Electrical malfunction with window device causing a passenger door fire. Also causing no headlights, rear lights, interior electrical everything, locks and windows all around the car not to function. Hyundai declines paying yet still wants this vehicle as is on the road. Please see attached photo. On 1/15/18 it was a cold day, I rolled the window down and attempted to roll it back up with the window started making noise. It did roll up and I proceeded back inside to work. I went outside on break and my car was on fire. The car was not in motion and no one was in the vehicle to initiate the fire.

This is the third time im reporting this defective car. While driving my 2015 Hyundai Accent it began to power down the oil light, the battery light and steering light came on the dashboard. This was reported to roadside assistance and my car was towed. Previously this same issue occurred a week to the date that I bought the car and it was towed to the dealership to be serviced. I was told a new transmission was needed that the torque converter locked up. Anyway a new transmission was put in the vechile and I got the vechile back, less than a week later they vehicle is acting up again! and here I am complaining again.

On January 30 2015. I was driving at about 65 mph.upon entering the tappen zee bridge all dash lights came on and I encountered a substantial loss. Of speed/power. Top speed was around 5-10 mph. After getting to safe place, I contacted Hyundai roadside assistance, they told me it wasn't their problem. After a 3 hour "cooldown" I was able to Transport the car to rockland Hyundai. After several more hours the service tech told me " the dealer prep button " wasn't pushed. This sounded suspicious, so I contacted several dealers. I was told by all of them there isn't a dealer prep button. However there is a switch. Was also told if this switch wasn't activated the car would not do what it did( go into safe mode). The switch controls accessories ( power windows, radio, lights...) to this day I have been told what really happened. I also filed a complaint with Hyundai, but all I get is them stalling.
