I reported to a local dealer, that while towing in a driving rain with the cruise set to 50 mph, when going down a moderate grade, the RPM's shot to 5000 then the car literally took off on its own volition, hitting a speed of 65 mph before I was able to apply the brake. Jeep service claims they test rode it and cruise is functioning normally. No repair completed. Issue did not reoccur until spring 2017. See new complaint(s)
