After only owning the vehicle for several months, I started hearing a snap sound when braking. Sometimes, it would occur when releasing from the brake. It continues to get more frequent and now can be heard on occasion when driving down the road without applying brake. I have taken my car to several dealerships and numerous visits. Twice, the dealerships had the vehicle for a week. The dealer replaced the axel shafts as they felt that may have been the issue, but to no avail as the noise continued. They also replaced the power transfer unit, but that did not solve the problem. At this point, they do not know what is causing the noise and they cannot do anything to fix the issue.
