I trade my 2016 Corolla for a new Jeep Cherokee. I loved the interior and it made me hooked on this car when I saw it. Well not even at 350 miles I began to hear a clunk when moving from reverse to drive. Took it by the dealership to have them replace the front axle nuts. At 1000 miles it began to clunk again. They then did a software update not helping with the transmission. I've been to the dealership for 4 more updates for no help.

Cherokee 2.4L

I purchased a brand new 2016 Jeep cherokee sport 2.4 L in January 2016. About a week or 2 after I had it I started to hear this "clunk" like noise when slowing down at times. Was told it may be ice so we waited until spring to have it looked at again. Since then it has gotten more consistent and clunks when we start to slow down (or right after we stop) as well as when we start back up. We've been to dealership 6 times for this issue and have been told that they can't find anything wrong and its most likely caused by the jeep "learning" how we drive and that it hasn't been broken in yet. We currently have a little over 4,000 kms on it and are being told to put more kms on it by the dealership to "break it in". Just wondering if this sounds legit to everyone? Getting very frustrated as my new vehicle experience has been ruined. Dealership also keeps saying they have to wait until a star case has been opened...looking for advice and wondering if anyone else has had this issue?
