A light came on notifying me that the 4WD system was unable to be used. Being summer time and knowing I would be bringing my car in for 40K service soon, I waited to address concern thinking it could be fixed at time time as routine service. The issue was identified but told the parts were not in stock and I needed to schedule another appt. to return with the vehicle once the parts arrived. Then at that appt. it was realized that more time was needed for repair (I was waiting for job to be completed) and I was sent home with a loaner. Then I was called to say that they were unable to access where the parts were located and my car would need to remain overnight with the expectation that the parts would get accessed the following day to complete the repair. Ultimately, the repair was accomplished and it now drives without the problem light. I'm not happy that I have had a failure with the 4WD system that I've barely used, and with under 40K miles and multiple yrs. remaining to pay off the car; although the dealer told me that the system is always 'on' running in 'auto' mode, even though I'm not activating the actual 4 high or 4 low, etc.
