CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2019 Cherokee is racking up engine complaints for suddenly shutting down while driving. But the problem could possibly be related to the increasingly defective 9-speed transmission which suffers from hard shifts, lurching problems, and a wiring harness defect that can cause sudden shutdowns or an unexpected shift into neutral.

My 2019 Jeep Cherokee has several issues, a few of which are it revs high when on any kind of incline or decline and there is great hesitation on normal acceleration. I don't have confidence that if I pull out into traffic that the car will respond properly or won't completely shut down, which it has done on 3 different occasions. The vehicle has several issues, and apparently Chyrsler/Jeep won't take responsibility for the poor engine design of the 2.4 Tigershark engines. These are dangerous issues that are of great safety concern. Do people have to die in order for jeep to take responsibility and fix the problems?
