The bracket that is mounted on the seat pan and that supports the seat back is fractured into two pieces. Bought a used replacement frame, disassembled and same broken brackets!!!! Clearly an engineering design flaw that could be fatally dangerous in a crash, especially if passenger in rear seat. Owner fix is to have the brackets welded back together and welded directly to the seat pan/frame. Requires complete disassembly/reassembly of seat plus cost of TIG welding.
How do I put Chrysler/Fiat on notice of this fatal flaw????? This is dangerous!!!
