Car was sitting still at a fast food vendor and all three lights came on - ABS; ESP BAS and vehicle with streaming marks from each tire. Lights went off after about 2 minutes; however, while driving down the street the brakes started making a strange noise (only when pressing the brakes). No reference to potential issues in the manual other than have it checked out. Lights came back on 8/28/2016 and remained for 15 minutes. Each time when braking the noise was a grounding sound in the brake system. PEP Boys will charge $108 to determine what the issue is plus any repair cost. Was wondering if others have experienced similar issues with a 2006 Liberty Jeep. My plan is to never purchase another Liberty Jeep.

Just got the Jeep Saturday. Started to go to store today and the ESP and ABS lights came on and Jeep started to lose power. After all the complaints I have read on here about this problem, I'm scared to drive it!!! Dodge (Jeep) needs to address this problem NOW!!!!

For no reason, my Dashboard Lights came on with a "ding" noise alerting me that the ABS/Electronic Stability Sensor and traction control indicator, was indicating I was having an issue, which usually happens if you are driving in wet/icy/ or slippery weather conditions. It was not raining and we do not see snow in South Texas. I have read in another post it may be the Brake Sensor/ABS wire that could have burnt and is causing a short. I need to have this checked at a dealership. Please advise.

My Jeep brake master cylinder and ABS started making noise pulling out one day and then started locking up the caliper on it's own under low speed. If I would get moving past 40-50 mph it would error out and shut off the ABS. Sometimes it would engage again if I sat idle for awhile. Did some reading and saw other people has the rear ABS wire harness go bad from flexing. So I pulled the rear seat and got under the carpet (under driver side rear seat) found the abs harness connector. Used a ohm meter and long wire and checked both rear ABS connections. They were good... I have a buddy that has a really nice snapon scanner that pulls ABS codes and he said the rear pass sensor was the problem. Went to Oreilly's and paid $16 for the part and fixed it. Hope this helps someone. Oh after installing the part it had all lights on for a block then shut off.

This Jeep is getting to be a pain in the butt!!! Now the brakes had more lights on than a Christmas tree. I had to replace brakes and sensor for something to do with all the lights that came on.
