I have had to have the motors & Track repaired in my Jeep Liberty 5 times it was covered under my warranty prior to now. Now it is broken again and I will have to pay out of pocket myself because my warranty is over. I can not believe they have not issued a recall as this is a safety issue - children and animals can fall out of the window and be harmed or KILLED. Not to mention the other damage that can occur due to weather or vandals when the windows are no working properly

2 weeks after my warranty ran out (3yr/36000mi - I only had 17,000 miles on it) my window stopped working. My husband and I took the door panels off to discover the linkage raise/lower the window was broken. I got online and realized that this was a widespread problem which the manufacturer refuses to recall. My family currently owns a 1993 Jeep Cherokee Sport, the 2006 Jeep Liberty, and a 2004 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. There will be no more Jeeps ever again in this family.

This is the 2nd time this has happened and I've only had the car 1 year. I've read all the other complaints and I can't believe Chrysler just lets this go on! I seriously almost crashed with both my little girls in the back when we're driving to the park and the passenger window just dropped. We all screamed and I swerved, luckily got control and nothing happened. Scary as hell though and the last time this happened on was on the highway with them and my babies rear window dropped. This is dangerous and wrong!!! I will call them again and see what they will do but I've had enough and I'm ready to sue someone!

I bought this 2006 Jeep Liberty brand new, for my wife. In a matter of months, the driver's side window fell off it's track. The Chrysler dealership repaired it under warranty. A year later, it happened again to the passenger side. About 1 month after the warranty ran out, it happened again to one of the back windows. Guess who had to pay for this problem. The thing is is that when it happened the second time, we asked them to repair all the windows because we knew it would keep happening. They said that they could only repair "broken" parts, not what might break in the future. The Liberty was the fourth brand new truck that I have bought from this dealership through the years. I also bought a new 2006 Dodge 3500 Dually from this dealership that had the same window problem. It was repaired under warranty. I was a union member for over 20 years and have always bought American made autos. I'm currently in the market for a new four wheel or all wheel drive vehicle. I'm going to get a Subaru. Sorry Big Three.

I have replaced 5 window regulators on my 2006 Jeep liberty. I am contemplating a class action lawsuit against Chrysler since they have failed to take adequate steps to repair. If interested, email me.

jeep needs to have a cheaper fix or do a recall. everyone i know that has a jeep liberty 06 has had this problem. to fix it the dealer wants 400+ per window. both my rear windows have fallen down inside the door, when you use vise grips and pull them up they instantly fall back into the door. this sucks , i am a single mom ,unemployed and can't afford to fix them so I have plexi glass duct taped in my windows.

Now that spring is here /april showers, I can't have my window open . I am going to trade this piece of junk. bought it @ 26,000 miles. Four days after I had it all the lights on the dash board came on. A week later the catalytic converter went out. We have two other jeeps and no problems like this. One of the jeeps is a 1985 the other one is a 1998.

When we got to our destination the door would not open. I have already had the same problem with drivers door.p.o.s.
