The contact owns a 2008 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that when it rained, water entered the vehicle from the lift gate. The contact had to place buckets in the vehicle to stop the vehicle from flooding. A dealer was notified but stated they were too backed up to diagnosis the vehicle. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure and current mileage was 53,000.
The sky slider roof on my 2008 Jeep Liberty began to open due to the wind flow at highway speed. I pulled off of the highway to attempt to close the roof. I was unable to close the roof as it appeared to be off its' tracks. I took surface roads home as I was concerned about the roof's stability at high speeds. Once home we were able to close the roof most of the way manually. I reseached this problem and found multiple cases of this roof failing. In some cases the roof actually flew off and caused an accident. Apparently Chrysler is aware of the problem but has not issued a recall. Any assistance you can give me is greatly appreciated. I am very concerned about this roof's stability, especially at highway speeds.

The driver's side door could only be opened from the exterior door handle. The dealer advised that the driver's side door panel needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. While driving on expressway at approx speed of 55mph sunroof opened on its own and would not close. Vehicle 10 months out of warranty, dealer estimated $2700 damage to actual panels and motor. Manufacturer wouldn't assist with cost of repair!!!
