My son's 2008 Jeep Liberty is haunted? For whatever reason, the electrical system is not working properly. The starter has a sluggish start that turns over but hesitates before engaging. The radio seems too hot when touched after continued use. The lights dim on occasion, and often flicker to bright when driving. the biggest issue is that it starts itself when turned off! It has happened several times to which he has to unlock door, get in vehicle, put key in starter and turn on ignition. the only way to turn the jeep off is to put the vehicle in drive, put in park and turn off. Sometimes, it requires a second try before vehicle turns off. This is ridiculous as the dealership has no clue, and a mechanic friend was baffled.
