"Death Wobble". I experienced this on a short two hour trip where I couldn't control the car. Every time I hit a bump or turn the car shook almost uncontrollably. This car is only 4 years old. I was travelling on the highway and genuinely feared for my life. I was over halfway to my destination so I got off the highway, put my hazards on and drove slow. I was in the middle of the country at this point. Jeep would not reimburse us for the total bill but what is even more upsetting is how they have not issued a recall on this vehicle. I know of several people (not just the Patriot model) who have had the same issue and response from Jeep. They say the parts are not covered under warranty, however there is an obvious issue.
The issue NEEDS to be addressed before someone is seriously injured or worse. I have no faith in Jeep and do not trust the safety of their vehicles.
