The first time the light came on was 4 years ago. I talked to my dealer, and they told me there was a sensor in the passenger seat that went bad. So instead of fixing it under warranty, they told me if it comes back on drive there immediately. I live 25-30 minutes away! That also depends on traffic. So the light never came back on until January 15, 2021.
The light came on over 20 times, on that day alone. Then the 16th, it came on about 5 times, the 17th it came on twice. Now all of a sudden today, no lights illuminated and no chimes. It's back to normal, I will still talk to my dealer once again tomorrow morning. This is such a dumb issue, and it's a very big safety issue, this means when I have a passenger in the seat, no airbag will deploy in an accident. This is the first major issue thats ever occurred. It's been fine other than the paper mache sensor.
