Wrangler Rubicon 3.6L V6

  • Manual transmission

Dealership from whom I bought the car won't return calls or address problem. Jeep Customer Car marginally helpful, but still seems powerless. Local dealerships pretend not to be aware of problem.

Wrangler X 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 800 miles

I bought my 2007 Jeep Wrangler X unlimited new in Feb 2007. Fuel spilled out of the tank the within the first several fill-ups and we're talking a good .5 gallon plus and it went all over my shoes and pants. Can you say health, environment and safety hazard?? At first I thought it was the gas stations pump no working correctly but then it started to happen at different stations / pumps. Immediately every time I went to fill I would stop at approx. 15 gallons and this would prevent the problem. Good thing there was never a spark around because I don't think I would be here today. I asked several dealers over the years and the answer was "no recall" or "no fix". so i just adapted to stopping the fill at a certain level....
