Chrysler voided my warranty

we have a swaybar problem, our swaybar is not working. i also have water that comes in the top of the doors. i paid $33,000 and water leaks inside the Jeep. windows always fog up when it rains. so the dealer wish to blame me for the water code on the outside and inside..but what did Jeep say about this, well it a Jeep so it can get wet with no problems. but see the problem i have below. Chrysler took my warranty away due to the water code.

we got this jeep to take the family camping trips & our son's cub scouts camping. the dealer says the jeep has been submerged under water. all because a plug for the swaybar was wet. no the Jeep has not been under water, it has been in a mud hole, what 2 mile trail doesn't have a big or small mud hole, well mud isn't water. so due to a bad survey and plug being wet, I have no warranty. note this below:

time #1 took the jeep to the dealer to get it fixed first time #2 the dealer order a new part time #3 the dealer replaced the new part, they didn't put the rubber seal back in the plug. light on the dash came back on before I got home. so I called them back. I said you didn't put the rubber seal back in, they replied we don't even know if there was a seal in the plug ...

so the survey came to me by email. so Kim (wife) did it truthfully. Kim is mad and has been mad. the jeep is still somewhat new so I wash it a lot at the car wash.

time #4 I took it in. dealer says well due to your bad survey and the water that dropped out of the plug. we need to void out your warranty .....

but note this. time 1 time 2 or time 3 no water never made one drop to come out of the plug. but now after the 3rd attempt the new part was put on and the washer was never put back in.

now washing the jeep, at the car wash .... you want to take away my warranty.

Kim has everything we need to tell WBTV NEWS . action 9 news / concord tribune -news paper

I talked to a man the other day, but he would not give me his last name. (Dave) is all I know and he said we can not help you. you need to send your comment in on paper or fax, we cant help you by phone. I don't see why these folks could not help me.

now note this: IF THERE ARE 10 FOLKS THAT ARE VERY HAPPY WITH A DEALER, WHAT WOULD THEY DO, THEY'RE HAPPY. THEY DO NOTHING . ONE MAY SAY WHAT A GREAT JOB THE DEALER DID. BUT IF ONE IS UPSET WITH A DEALER, WHAT WOULD THAT ONE DO. THIS ONE WOULD TELL 52 IN THE JEEP GROUP PLUS 102 BY EMAIL WHAT THE DEALER DID. PLUS GO TO ACTION 9 NEWS / WBTV NEWS / CONCORD TRIBUNE PAPER POSTING THIS ON THE FRONT PAGE.

SO DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT TEN HAPPY PEOPLE WOULD DO NOTHING, MAKE MY WIFE HAPPY SO SHE DOES NOTHING.

I HAVE SENT 3 PEOPLE TO THIS DEALER THEY ARE WAITING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO ME. THE DEALER HAS PULLED THEIR CREDIT. THAT IS MY WORD TO THE DEALER, MY WORD WAS THAT I WOULD SEND 3-5 PEOPLE TO THE DEALER TO BUY A CAR. BUT THEY ARE WAITING ON CHRYSLER TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO ME, AND MY WORD IS MY WORD.

JOHN WILLIS / DEBBIE DRAKE / ANGLIA ROACH EACH WISH TO BUY A VEHICLE, BUT NOT IF THIS DEALER IS GOING TO STAB ME IN THE BACK. THE DEALER WANTS TO MAKE THESE 3 SALES ... 2 CARS AND A TRUCK.

this problem I have has starting at 4780 miles now I have 11,123 and the light still flashes. can I trade it in, no, it has a light flashing on the dash. do I wish to trade it in, no.

Here is what we sent to the Tim Marburger dealership:

Hi Tim Marburger (Tim Marbuger Dodge)

This is to you not the dealer. This is Tim Kim Nivens and I wanted you to hear my side. I have been to the dealership several times to get the sway bar in my Jeep fixed. Each time I was impressed on how Tim Bridle and the service department tried to help with the problem and get it resolved. I have been there 3 times on the matter and it has not been fixed. Tim Bridle did attempt to correct the problem with the sway bar by replacing a part, but even that hasn’t fixed the problem. The sway bar indicator light continues to flash. I received a survey via e-mail after I attempted again to have the sway bar light flashing corrected so we filled it out. All was good before the survey. I filled out the survey truthfully. (Yeah, now look where that got me). 3 times the jeep was sent in for service and we still have a problem. Tim Bridle had his feelings hurt due to he can not take constructive criticism and we feel he has stabbed us in the back. He stated, and I quote “We took money out of his pocket” end quote! I feel that what Tim Bridles should have said is “What can I do to satisfy your problem with the sway bar?”. I have been very nice to Tim Bridle and to Mr. Jackson whom I had to speak with whenever I found out my warranty was voided. I have called Chrysler due to my warranty being voided and they say go to Mr. Jackson. Mr. Jackson says call Chrysler. So I have been getting the run around now for several weeks. So now I am coming to you for the help I need. I shook your hand, told you I don’t work for you in the dealership, but outside I will work for you. I have campaigned on how great I was treated whenever I first bought my Jeep and how great the dealership is. Now I feel that I have to eat my words. I shook on what I said to you and my word is my word. I’m proud to have your name on the back of our jeep. Do I have a lemon? No. Do I like having a light flashing on our dash? No! Can the problem be found? Yes.

A water code was received whenever I brought the Jeep in for service. Tim Bridle hooked up the computer due to the sway bar light constantly flashing. I explained to him that I wash the Jeep a lot, and that is why he received the code. Plus, I was in the shop to find out only why the sway bar light was flashing and that’s it. I explained to him what happened about the rubber seal and that the water code would probably go away once everything dried out. Which it did ..Tim Bridle received the survey that did not praise him and the work that they do, so Tim Bridle had his feelings hurt and decided he did not want to work on my Jeep at that time ...

Tim bridle told me that he could not work on my Jeep and I need to leave. I ask why, I brought it in to find out being this is the 4th time I have been in for this matter.

invoice #60929 gas cap replace miles 1324 apr 05-08 (no swaybar problems at this time)

invoice #65699 communication with swaybar miles 4576 jun 21-08 (no water mentioned).

invoice#65879 install swaybar actuator miles 4780 jun 24-08 (no water mentioned). also didn't replace the rubber seal at this time and date. before I get home from the dealer. the swaybar light is back on. so I called the dealer, the light is back on and I have no seal can the one who replaced the part look around for the seal. so here I am with no seal.

invoice #68309 axle leak, miles 6571 aug 01-08 (swaybar light still flashing), dealer check it. could not fix it at this time. so no water mentioned or no water code this time.

one negative survey was put in by Kim Nivens who was mad saying this is the 4th time and you cant fix it.

invoice #71549 swaybar light flashing. 08 vehicle has been under water (now you want to mention the wet swaybar plug, where you didn't mention it last time). Tim Bridle told me I need to go, we couldn't work on the Jeep. You see why a bad survey was put in.

invoice #65699 swaybar problem #65879 swaybar problem (lost seal) #68309 we can't look at it now not enough time. #71549 we will take away your warranty due to your Jeep being under water (what water, no it all due to the bad survey and a wet plug which the dealer didn't replace the rubber seal).

car washing plus the bad survey equals no more warranty due to vehicle has been under water. Trust me, if the vehicle had been under water I am certain that I would be having more problems with the jeep than just the sway bar light flashing. I mean, come on, do you really think that I am going to put a 2008 under water? I have taken the Jeep off road and splashed through water but never once was the Jeep under water. I even sent youtube videos of other Jeeps that have went off road to the Service Department showing them how much fun a Jeep is and what they can do. The sway bar could hit one of the local potholes in Concord and splash through water.

I wish to know where you stand on this and how good your word is whenever you shook my hand that day and said Thank you and we will do our best to help you. My word is my word what about you? I don’t want to be mean sounding but I am frustrated for one that I was not informed that my warranty was voided and two I am getting the run around from Chrysler and your dealership. If my warranty remains voided I would like to know when I will be refunded since I am paying for the extended warranty which I do not have at this time.

Tim

SO ALL THIS COME ABOUT DUE TO A BAD SURVEY. BUT IF THIS DEALER HAD FIX IT THE First TIME NOTHING WOULD BEEN SAID. BUT BEING THAT ONLY HAVE SOLD JEEP FOR ONLY TWO YEARS , I TAKE IT THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

look for ( jeep jk problems ) on youtube. just do yourself a favor, buy a 2006 or older jeep . jks jeep 07-08 have too many problems. but most important, DONT BUY FROM TIM MARBURGER IN CONCORD NC 28027. THERE ARE 3 OTHERS FOLKS IN HERE, THAT SAY THE SAME THING ABOUT THIS DEALER.

we love our Jeeps but not the dealer.
