The contact called on behalf of his fianc who owns a 2017 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the air bag waring light was flashing. The contact took the vehicle to tanner motors (620 w. Washington St, brainerd, mn 56401; (218) 829-3597) who stated that the clockspring needed to replaced due to the vehicle being turned to the left and right too many times. The contact was unsure if the manufacturer was contacted however, the dealer contacted persons with Chrysler regarding the failure. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA campaign number: 16V290000 (air bags) however, the VIN was not included. The approximate failure mileage was 109,000.
