This car has been bad on batteries, 6 replacements in 7 years. My preferred service facility said the starter was dragging. They replaced. Less than 3 months later, same problem and they replaced the starter again. One month later and it is beginning again. Other than this the car had few problems, runs well. Like some others report, the fuel economy is not as good as advertised, generally 25 to 28 mpg.
Update from Aug 8, 2013: Update: The preferred service facility acknowledged the third starter is dragging too. They ordered a fourth starter from a "premium" supplier, fortunately all covered under their warranty.
