Cannot feel the crack either on the outside or inside of the car; am not sure how dangerous it is to drive it the way it is; am not sure what will happen when the crack reaches the otherside; about 1 inch to go. Noticed there was another similar complaint with respect to the windshield on the 2015 Kia Rio.
For no apparent reason the windshield developed a crack starting on the passenger side lower corner that has spread 8 inches vertically so far and is beginning to sliver.This should never happen to a vehicle that is only two years old with low mileage although the glass on these vehicles seems to be very thin in my opinion.Went to dealer where car was leased and contacted Kia directly and they said they can't help me.Also contacted my personal auto insurance carrier and was told my deductable was probably to high for them to cover repairs.I am very frustrated over this because I did not cause this problem.
