STARTED HAVING PROBLEM WITH CAR STALLING WHILE DRIVING , NEXT DAY TOOK IT TO GARAGE (WHICH WILL REMAIN NAMELESS FOR NOW) WAS TOLD IT WAS SUB INDUCTION ASSY BAD , CAN ONLY GET FROM KIA. APPROX $600.00 FOR REPAIR. 3 WEEKS LATER SAME EXACT PROBLEM .

THIS CAR IS ONLY DRIVEN AROUND TOWN AVG 50 MILES PER WEEK . TOOK IT BACK SAME MECHANIC , NOW HE SAYS THROTTLE BODY NEEDS CLEANED AND REPLACE SEAL/GASKET, ANOTHER $127.00. LEFT SHOP DROVE 28 MILES SAME DAY STARTS STALLING AGAIN . TAKE IT BACK NEXT MORNING AND MECHANIC DOESN'T REALLY WANT TO DO ANYTHING CAUSE HE SAYS COULD BE MULTIPLE THINGS , TOLD HIM IT'S THE SAME PROBLEM. HAD PREVIOUSLY REPLACED MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR THE YEAR BEFORE SO SWITCHED THAT OUT AGAIN. STILL STALLING.

NOW THE CODE IS COMING UP FOR CATALYTIC CONVERTER , AND ITS STILL DOING STALL PROBLEM. THE MECHANIC SAYS ALL THESE PARTS HAVE TO COME FROM KIA AND HE DOESN'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT CATALYTIC CONVERTER. PROBLEM NOT FIXED YET. MEANWHILE I HAD THE SAME MECHANIC TELL ME U JOINT AND CARRIER BEARING ASSY BAD EASIER TO REPLACE ALL U JOINTS FRONT TO CARRIER BEARING ASSY. ALL HAVE TO COME FROM KIA , ANOTHER $800.00. OUT OF USE FOR THE CAR FOR 1 1/2 WEEKS . AND HAD IT BREAK DOWN AND NEED THE ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY REPLACED ANOTHER $550.00.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED AND FURIOUS WITH A CAR BEFORE. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY CAR I HAVE OWNED GOING FOR 200,000 ++++ MILES AND HAVE THE MAJOR PROBLEMS THIS CAR HAS HAD IN THE LAST 6 WEEKS. I AM SINGLE MOM , PENDING DISABILITY AND HAVE DR APPTS TO GO TO AND CANT RELY ON THIS VEHICLE AND APPARENTLY NO ONE HAS A CLUE HOW TO FIX IT AND THE ICING ON THIS TURD OF A CAR IS I STILL HAVE A LOAN OUT ( UPSIDE DOWN ON VALUE) AND COULDN'T GET ANOTHER IF I NEEDED TO BECAUSE I'M NOT ABLE TO WORK .

THANKS SO MUCH KIA . WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR BUY ANOTHER KIA

In January 2, 2016 my Kia Sorento 2003 engine fail while I was driving in highway fast lane. I manage changing lanes and me, my wife and two children survived with out any accident. I end up spending $$$$$$ to replace the engine.

I checked the Recall for this model how do I file my compliant?

I HAVE HAD THIS DAMN CAR LESS THAN A YEAR!!! NOW TO THIS DAY 03/22/2015, I HAVE HAD MY CAR BROKE DOWN ON ME 3 TIMES, WITH THE ENGINE CUTTING OFF AND HAVING SOMEONE TO PICK ME AND MY 1 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER UP OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS. THE PEOPLE I GOT IT FROM PROMISED ME IT WAS A SAFE, GOOD FAMILY CAR. BULL SH*T. WHEN YOUR SCARED TO DRIVE THE CAR YOUR PAYING FOR, ITS NOT SAFE. I AM A SINGLE MOM THAT IS WORKING HER ASS OF TO HAVE THIS CAR AND I CAN MAKE IT BACK AND FORTH TO WORK. I KEEP MISSING WORK BECAUSE OF MY CAR MESSING UP. I HAVE NOW REPLACED THIS PULLEY AND BOLT THREE TIMES, COSTING ME A LOT OF MONEY. THE ONLY REASON I GOT IT CHEAP THE SECOND TIME IS BECAUSE I RAISED HELL WITH THE DEALER I BOUGHT IT FROM.

I DON'T NOT REPEAT DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GETTING A PIECE OF JUNK LIKE THIS. IF THERE IS ANY WAY TO HELP ALL OF US WHO HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM WE NEED TO DO IT

Hi, My name is KIMBERLY Humphrey and I don't have ANYTHING good to say about Kia. First off, I had my fuel filter and charcoal canister replaced. I have a Kia Sorento. Then my car started having problems. I cannot go anywhere on the highway because after about 15 minutes, my car automatically slows down. And YES, I reported this to Kia. I was even TOWED back to Goose Creek at a tune of $160! I was told my car is alright. The Kia in Goose Creek even went so far to tell me that they couldn't help me that I will have to take it back to the Kia that worked on it. That Kia is in Columbia, 1 1/2 hours from me. I am having issues with my car and Kia did it and now Eric Dambaugh wants to call me BRUCE in an email he sent me in my yahoo account! I have held my tongue about Kia long enough. Thanks to you calling me BRUCE, I am now putting in a complaint. Thanks Kia for the crappy service from Kia Goose Creek!!!

This Kia randomly just quits running while driving down the road. It has happened several times now and my wife can barely get of the road safely because everything like power steering etc also stop. I have talked to our local dealer but they say they can't pin it down because it is intermittent. There is never any warning via lights, sounds, or even engine hesitation. Has never happened in the morning but usually after parked all day and heading home.
