CarComplaints.com Notes: As long as catastrophic engine failure at under 60,000 miles is the top owner complaint, it'll be pretty hard to recommend the 2012 Sorento.

Ok, so bought this vehicle for wife in Sept. 2016, first day off lot housing for seat controls (Drivers side) pop's out. Placed it back in myself, held together for a few more in/out's of vehicle before popping out again and again! Returned to Dealer, was told it was not covered by warranty...SMH, so Dealer agreed to pay half of NEW UNIT. Unit arrived, was replaced, and about two days later SAME THING AGAIN!!! WTH! So, me being who I am I (SUPER GLUED THE UNIT TOGETHER) Well, it held together until my Wife came home from work the other day and told me the Unit cracked, and was once again hanging from the side of the seat...SMH it seems cold temps caused the housing unit to bend, because the superglue held together, but the housing could not bend. FRUSTRATED AMERICAN CITIZEN!!!
